Accessibility Statement
Version 1.1 · Effective 2026-09-29 · Last updated 2026-09-29
MB Move Better wants everyone to be able to read this site, buy a service, complete an intake, and use what we deliver. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to keep improving toward that target.
1. Our commitment
Accessibility is a baseline requirement for how this site is built, not an afterthought. We design for keyboard navigation, screen readers, sufficient color contrast, text that scales without breaking the layout, and predictable, low-motion interaction.
2. What we have done
This site was rebuilt in September 2026 with accessibility as part of the build standard. The previous version's frame-by-frame animated hero and canvas background have been retired, not carried over. The current site uses:
- Semantic HTML with a proper heading order, landmarks, and lists.
- Keyboard-operable navigation and controls, a skip-to-content link, and visible focus states that are never hidden behind fixed elements.
- Color contrast targeted at WCAG AA: at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and interface components. Gold accents are never used as text on light backgrounds below the contrast threshold.
- Respect for your "reduce motion" system setting; no content depends on animation.
- Interactive targets sized to at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, and no action that requires a drag gesture.
- Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages, and no request to re-enter information you already gave us in the same session.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- The contact and help path in the same place on every page.
- There is currently no video on this site. If we add any, it will carry captions wherever speech is present.
3. Known limitations
At the time of publication our automated checks report no serious or critical issues on any page of this site, and we are not aware of any other barrier. Three areas are worth naming:
- Checkout and intake pages are hosted by our coaching platform (GoHighLevel) with card entry by Stripe. We have chosen vendors with published accessibility commitments and configured those pages carefully, but we do not control every element of them. If one of them blocks you, tell us and we will take your order or intake by email or phone instead.
- Photo uploads. If you cannot take or upload the assessment photos yourself, email us; we will arrange an alternative (for example, a helper taking the photos, or a short video call).
- Windows screen readers. Not yet tested — see section 4.
If we find a limitation after publication, we will list it here with a target date for the fix.
4. Browsers and assistive technology
The site is built and checked against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with VoiceOver on macOS. We have not yet tested with a Windows screen reader (NVDA or JAWS); that is a gap we are naming rather than implying, and it is on our list. If you use one and something does not work, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
5. Conformance and audits
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit at this stage. Our own automated checks do run before every change: an axe-core scan of every page runs in our build pipeline and blocks release on any issue rated serious or critical, alongside accessibility linting of the page code itself. Automated testing catches perhaps half of what matters, so it is a floor and not a substitute for an audit or for your feedback. If a formal audit is conducted, we will publish the results here.
6. Tell us what is not working
If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site or in our intake, report, or coaching materials, please email matt@mbmovebetter.com with the subject "Accessibility" and, if you can, include what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.
We acknowledge every accessibility report within 5 business days, and we aim to fix blocking issues within 30 days.
