Medical & Exercise Disclaimer
Version 1.2 · Effective 2026-09-29 · Last updated 2026-09-29
MB Move Better provides fitness, movement, and general nutrition coaching. It is not health care, and nothing on this site or in our services is a substitute for it. Please read this page before buying an assessment, program, or coaching plan.
1. Not medical advice
The information, assessments, reports, programs, videos, and personal communication provided by Matthew Booska and MB Move Better LLC are for general fitness and educational purposes only. Nothing we provide is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, condition, injury, or disorder, and nothing we say should be read that way.
2. Scope of practice
Matthew Booska holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, is a Certified Biomechanics Specialist through Pinnacle Performance (2026), and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and NASM Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC). He works within that scope: exercise physiology, personal training, corrective exercise, strength and conditioning, and general nutrition education.
Matthew is not a licensed physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, registered dietitian, mental-health provider, or any other licensed healing-arts professional. He does not practice medicine, physical therapy, chiropractic, or dietetics, and our services are not provided under any such license.
3. What a virtual assessment is, and is not
A Virtual Posture Assessment is Matthew's visual review of the standardized photos you supply, combined with your questionnaire answers, to identify postural tendencies and choose exercises. A Virtual Movement + Posture Assessment adds a review of short movement videos.
A photo-based posture review is not a medical examination and cannot detect or rule out injury or disease. It cannot see inside your body, cannot diagnose a condition, and is not a replacement for an evaluation by a physician or physical therapist. What you receive is an educational report describing observations and the exercises we suggest based on them. If anything in your report concerns you, or if you have pain that persists, see a licensed provider.
4. Nutrition guidance
Our macro and nutrition products provide general nutrition guidance for generally healthy adults. They are not medical nutrition therapy, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat or manage any medical condition.
Please consult an appropriate licensed healthcare professional before taking part if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- are under 18;
- have a current eating disorder, or a significant history of an eating disorder or disordered eating; or
- have a medical condition, or take a medication, that materially affects nutrition, metabolism, blood sugar, digestion or your dietary requirements.
Tell us as well, so we can adjust the guidance or decline that part of the service. Nothing here replaces a physician or a registered dietitian, and we refer out rather than work outside our scope.
5. Before you begin
Consult a qualified licensed health-care provider before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, and especially if you:
- are pregnant, postpartum, or trying to become pregnant;
- have a known heart, lung, neurological, or metabolic condition;
- are recovering from injury, illness, or surgery;
- have chronic pain, a mobility limitation, or a disability;
- take medication that affects exercise tolerance, balance, or recovery;
- are over 65 and have not exercised regularly in the last year;
- have ever been told by a health professional not to exercise, or have chest pain, dizziness, or fainting with exertion.
Our intake asks screening questions for exactly these situations. If your answers suggest you should be cleared first, we will ask you to get physician clearance before we proceed, and your purchase is held as a credit until you do. If a licensed provider tells you not to exercise, do not exercise.
6. Stop and seek care
Stop any exercise immediately and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion, dizziness or lightheadedness, fainting, sudden joint or muscle injury, sharp or worsening pain, numbness or tingling, or any other symptom that feels medical. Do not push through symptoms. In an emergency, call 911. Do not use email, text, or any messaging channel to report an emergency; we are not an emergency service and do not monitor messages around the clock.
7. Individual results
Every body is different. Any results described on this site or by clients who have given us permission to share them are their individual experiences, not a promise of what you will experience. Progress depends on consistency, health, history, and factors outside our control.
8. Your acknowledgment and assumption of risk
Exercise carries inherent physical risk, including soreness, strains, sprains, joint injury, and in rare cases serious injury or death. By buying or using our services you confirm that you have read this disclaimer, that you have answered our screening questions truthfully, that you will get physician clearance where advised, and that you knowingly and voluntarily accept the risks of physical activity, including exercise you perform unsupervised at home or in a gym.
This Medical Disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service. To the fullest extent the law allows, Matthew Booska and MB Move Better LLC are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of our information or services.
